Foot Care
The AICMC partners with Susan Coates, Foot-Care Nurse, to provide In-House Foot Care for Amherst Island Residents.
Susan is an RPN and has been in Nursing for over 30 years, working 10 years with the VON in oncology/palliative care, and 19 years with Quarry Medical.
Susan is an experienced Foot Care Nurse with Advanced Foot Care and Wound Care qualifications. She is on Amherst Island every 4-6 weeks to visit clients in their homes. Susan also runs her own foot care business called Magick Feet, and works 1 day a week providing advanced foot care* as part of the Sharbot Lake Family Health Team.
The cost for Foot Care is $50.00 per visit.

*Advanced Foot care: is NOT a pedicure. Susan does Diabetic education, foot and leg assessments for circulation, debrides and reduces calluses, corns, delaminates thick fungal nails, reduces ingrown nails, applies wicks, etc.
