The AICMC delivers water samples to Kingston Public Health Labs three times per year to ensure the safety of your drinking water.

Water Sample Bottle Collection
If you rely on well water or a private water source, this is a convenient way to get it tested. The AICMC collects water sample bottles in partnership with Kingston Public Health Labs — just a few simple steps and your water can be professionally tested.
How to Submit Your Water Sample
- Pick up your Water Test Bottle from the General Store
- Carefully follow the reminders below
- Place your water collection bottle in the labelled cooler at the General Store before 9:30 AM on the collection date
Helpful Reminders from the Kingston Public Health Lab
- Collect your sample the day before, or the morning of, the drop-off date
- Fill out all areas of the requisition
- The requisition must be filled out by the owner of the home, using their information
- Use the full date and time, e.g. “July 6, 2026” and “4pm”
- Keep your water sample below 25°C — store it in the fridge until you place it in the cooler for delivery
- Save a barcode from the bottle with the blue card to obtain your results the day after testing
- Results are sent by mail to the mailing address on the requisition
- If you note that you will pick up results at the lab, the person listed on the requisition must be the person who comes to the lab
